NEWBIES CHALLENGE

Here it is! That’s where we start: What is a blog ? or a tag? or ftp? etc, etc…

All these terms are totally bewildering to the uninitiated. And even if you do know what a word or tech term means, you still want to know how to install it / apply it and how best to use it.

What do you think? Would you like to know details like the examples above? How much of an expert are you? There is always something new or different that comes up. Would you like to help me establish a

GLOSSARY OF TERMS AND USES as a reference guide useful for those starting out fresh as well as the more experienced “bloggers” or web workers.

I will start a separate section ( once I find out how to do this !) especially for such a GLOSSARY. Now there is a first step ! Please come and join me.

My First Post

Well, here is the challenge: Where do I begin? I don’t want this to be, or become, a meaningless rambling session, and at this stage I am unable to offer specifics – mainly, because I am still trying to come to terms with the technology managing this site – without drawing on outside help. I just want to say that, if you happen to have stumbled across this site, I hope to see you again sometime in the future.
